Installing TorrentRover — what to expect

Because TorrentRover is not code-signed, Windows can’t automatically verify our publisher and will show a security warning when you run the installer. You downloaded this file safely from this site, so it’s safe to continue. Here is every screen you’ll see, and exactly what to click:

1. 

   1 When the download finishes, click TorrentRoverSetup.exe in your browser’s download bar to launch it — a single click is enough there. (From your Downloads folder you’ll double-click instead.)

2. 

   2 Windows says “The publisher could not be verified” — that’s expected, because we’re a small independent team. Click Run.

3. 

   3 The setup wizard opens. Click Next.

4. 

   4 Select the I Agree option (this screen starts on “I Do Not Agree”).

5. 

   5 Then click Next.

6. 

   6 Keep the default install folder and click Next.

7. 

   7 Last confirmation — click Next.

8. 

   8 Windows asks whether to allow the app to make changes (just another “unknown publisher” check) — click Yes.

9. 

   9 Files are being copied — just wait for the progress bar to finish. Nothing to click.

10. 

    10 That’s it — click Close and launch TorrentRover from your Start menu. You’re all set!
